Como esperado, a trilha sonora da tour não realizada do Michael Jackson, 'This is It', debuta facilmente no topo com mais de 700 mil cópias, ficando em 1º lugar em mais de 20 paises. Este se tornou o 3º album dele, somente em 2009, que fica na liderança do chart mundial, após 'Number Ones' (na semana 28) e 'Thriller' (semana 29 a 32). No acumulado do ano, o 'Thriller' ultrapassou a marca de 3,5 milhões de cópias em 2009, enquanto 'Number Ones' aparece com 3,2 milhões.
